    This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to quickly assess recognize and care for cardiac arrest provide high-quality CPR and use an AED to optimize patient outcomes.

    Designed for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital healthcare clinicians this training is consistent with the 2025 evidence-based science guidelines and covers additional life-threatening emergencies including respiratory arrest drowning opioid overdose myocardial infarction life-threatening bleeding and obstructed airway in adults children and infants. Participants complete an online course followed by an in-person session led by an Instructor or self-directed solution that includes knowledge-based learning and hands-on skill practice.

    • Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors.

    • Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business.

    • The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business.

    • This course, which includes a final exam at the end, takes about 4 hours to complete.

    • Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable certificate.

    • Training teaches you the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis.

    • Learn how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction including how to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device. 

    • *Course is an add on to First Aid. Basic CPR is needed.

    • Training focuses on recognizing/responding to the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.

    • Understand the appropriate first aid care to provide based on the person's breathing and level of responsiveness.

    • Learn how to give naloxone using several different products -- a nasal atomizer, Narcan ® Nasal Spray and EVZIO ® -- to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

    • Recommended for facilities, community organizations, and schools, but can be taken by any professional.

    • *Course is an add on to First Aid. First Aid course is required to be taken simultaneously.

    • Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace.

    • The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.

    • This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

    • Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year.

  • This specialized short course or "skill boost" teaches you how to recognize breathing emergencies and correctly assist someone with their prescribed asthma medication.
